My original award ticket only had economy space, although I was able to book myself into business closer to the actual flight. This flight is usually on the Cathay Pacific 772. I watched The Post – and really enjoyed it. I was surprised that the video selection did not appear as good/recent as my available options on my prior flight leg a month earlier traveling from KBV to DPS.
I’m always a fan of salmon. The salad was nice and the salmon was tasty tasty.
I had the beef – a pretty solid sized piece and I thought the cut was quite good. This was a great meal all around.
A nice fruit and cheese plate and the apple crumble pie. I didn’t eat all the fruit and cheese – but I sure ate all of the pie!
These seats were not fully lie flat – not even close actually; they are reclining seats, although I’m not sure how far. They look a lot nicer than domestic first class although I’m not sure if they actually recline any further than it. This was a 5 hour flight; at some point I was hoping for a bit more recline and was a bit frustrated that I couldn’t actually get it.
