An interesting article over at the Atlantic. I do recall getting a little more meals on my first flights, I could have sworn some meals to Vegas were had… although long gone now. I occasionally get a meal in first now domestically, as I’m executive platinum on AA at the moment. Never too exciting although the international ones are better, and a lot more interesting to try if on some other country’s airline… I definitely enjoy the different food, decor and service experience of a foreign based jet.
In any case, interesting article on the history of airline food and on some of the challenges of serving tasty meals at 35,000 feet.
