Turkish Airlines Lounge at Istanbul Ataturk

So the Turkish Airlines lounge is all sorts of amazing.  It’s huge and has all sorts of stuff including food, food, food.  Without a lounge, I usually eat little if anything at airports.  Maybe some Starbucks.  Maybe some little snackies at US domestic lounges, and by that I truly mean little.  Well, except at US Airways – they’ve got a bunch of chips and salsa so I might pound them down…

The Turkish Airlines lounge was awesome though.  I had access via my Business class ticket, not sure if it’s possible to finagle in with any credit cards – it doesn’t seem to be so.  Cool lockers for your stuff…

First thing in sight entering is actually this pool table.  They’ve also got a little movie theater.

The lounge is pretty huge, easily largest I’ve been in, then again that is a low sample size.  The “old” style I suppose is with these arches, although it seemed pretty cool to me.  This area was closer to the entrance and was busier than the “new” renovated area.

Transitioning to the new area and some pics of it – two floors:

The food was pretty awwwesooome…  pide…

Off the grill…

Salad, soups, rigatoni… really good rigatoni actually, mucho delicioso…

Looked good but managed to avoid these…

May as well throw in the bathroom.  Fancy pants sink and a mirror of infinite flight dorks.
